HBR Retaining a Workforce That Wants to Quit. (The sole free workers and compensation)


A study in the US shows that more people are quitting jobs than been fired...interesting. I think that at some point and in some industries, the same thing is happening in Latin AMerica.

The following issues caught my attention today from this HBR post:

first "Don't force a brilliant solo performer to manage."
second "ask employees to identify the strengths they want to develop and weaknesses to shore up"
third: "Ask employees to suggest special projects they'll find interesting; they can provide valuable ideas for the business"
finally: "Personalize the rewards. Businesses are giving Christmas turkeys to employees who don't have an oven".
