Take Absolute Control of your Online PR.

Today an online PR suggestion for your weekend...
As a journalist I like to get as much information as possible from a company I am reporting about. I like to research other than corporate information as well, but in many cases if the information that the company provides is accurate, interesting and complete, it may be enough for a comment or an editorial.
So if you are deciding wether you should incorporate a corporate press room or media kit to your website don't think twice. Just do it.
But make sure you control every word of what is posted on your web site.
If you hire the services of a PR professional, make sure that he or she understand the philosophy of your organization and your core business. You should always read and share any concepts and texts that your PR advisor suggests.
Make sure that there are no concepts that "take for granted" what your reader knows about your company.
What's even better, try and write the concepts, services, mission and goals of your company yourself.. Then have a PR expert work those concepts and write descriptive texts.
Take full control of your corporate communications and your online PR actions and you'll be in control of your organizations' public presentation on the web.
Tomorrow I'll share my opinion about domain names and why it is important to have full control of your domain names in the USA and abroad.
Have a great Saturday!
